A graphic designer has been selected to do all of the layout and design and prep for printing the book. Once the agreement has been delivered and signed, we will make an announcement.
In the summer of 2016, we obtained a donation of a $1000.00 from the Judith Basin Historical Society and in the meantime we have also received a couple of donations from folks as well. (thank you ever so much!)
Chamber Members are also visiting with local businesses and organizations to raise seed money funding for the book project as well. All funding resources and donations acquired for this project will be so noted and printed in the book.
We do have several reservations on hand from folks who would like to purchase a copy of the book, but we have not collected any monies yet. The retail cost of the book to sell will be determined when we are able to the finalize the cost of printing the book.
A large collection of stories has been collected; the book is projected to be 250-300 pages.
Many thanks and appreciation to everyone who contributed their stories and histories for the upcoming "Furrows and Trails, Part II" book.
